In 1997, the President of the Barcelona FC, Mr. Joan Laporta announced his desire to "restructure" the emblematic Camp Nou. The two only conditions imposed by the soccer team were: 1) To respect the actual structure of the famous Camp Nou and 2) To build it as quickly as possible. After a selection process, Norman Foster was selected to restructure the stadium with an estimated cost of 250 million euros. In May 2010, the new President of the Barcelona FC decided not to restructure it. However, in this interview Norman Foster explains his project.
